World of Women celebrates its second anniversary with an exciting new addition: Patio, a new community platform dedicated to enhancing the WoW experience for its members. World of Women says the Patio membership card is designed to grow the WoW holders’ network and personal brand in a way that aligns with their values. The team first announced Patio on July 27, sharing access with a select few members as it undergoes the beta testing phase.

WoW COO Shannon Snow and VP of Product Taisia A., nft now gave a behind-the-scenes look at what to expect from this recent feature.

Two years of WoW

Over the past two years, the World of Women ecosystem has achieved significant milestones. With a thriving community, it has over 400,000 active members between its two NFT collections, $212 million in total trading volume, over 35 community events, and donated $2 million to supporting causes.

“The two-year anniversary was a good time for us to reflect,” Snow said. “We started as an NFT collection, but then we’ve become a truly global movement representing representation in Web3 and beyond.”

Snow reveals that her team will focus on two key areas of focus for the brand going forward.

“One is growing our brand globally through IP rights and partnerships,” said Snow. “Second, it builds an inclusive community with exclusive benefits. Patio is an investment in that; it’s our ability to create this as a platform.

Through Patio, all WoW members can unlock a range of benefits, connections and opportunities that align seamlessly with their values and aspirations. Holders get a personal profile with their NFT and the theme is generated based on individual preferences through an extensive personality test.

“The personality test is based on the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) personality test,” says Taisia A. “If we slowly test and roll out the beta, and that’s something people really like.”

Patio offers WoW members the ability to customize their profiles, participate in the “Quest of Origins” for self-exploration, and receive badges for their valuable contributions to the community. WoW members also have access to exclusive opportunities and can connect with influential people in a safe and encouraging environment. In addition, members can experience a virtual makeover in the WoW Salon for a virtual makeover.

“Currently, you can see a collector’s profile, but we want to add discoverability to highlight our members, including sharing their artwork and work,” Taisa A. added. “

When will it officially start?

The team emphasizes the importance of building in public and shares how community feedback will influence the timing of the public platform launch.

According to Snow, they don’t have an exact date for the public launch yet, but are aiming for fall 2023, most likely September. The team believes it is essential to include feedback loops throughout the development process. This approach ensures that the platform resonates with the community and fosters a sense of belonging and pride among its members.
