Anomaly, an AI-powered blockchain gaming platform, saw its Genesis Passport NFTs appear in seconds on June 6.

The collection of 888 free-to-mint NFTs were all claimed during the initial ‘guaranteed whitelisting phase’, with total trading volume on platforms such as OpenSea and Blur surpassing 20 ETH just four hours after the mint. At the time of writing, the current floor price is 0.03 ETH.

Backed by venture capital funds such as Shima Capital and Decasonic, this Genesis Passport collection aims to support Anomaly Games’ upcoming node campaign.

What use are these Genesis Passport NFTs?

Genesis Passport holders will benefit from an airdrop of the platform’s native $NOM token, launching later in 2024.

Anomaly’s AI-powered SDK facilitates the creation and deployment of mini-games on social media platforms such as Telegram and Discord.

These AI functionalities include player model training, matchmaking, automated quest creation and in-game asset generation, aimed at simplifying the game development experience.

Combining SocialFi with AI Gaming

Anomaly aims to simplify web3 gaming by delivering “immersive social gaming experiences” through “easy-to-play mini-games and simple reward mechanisms.”

“At Anomaly, we strive to connect with the community by delivering immersive social gaming experiences on commonly used platforms, with easy-to-play mini-games and clear reward mechanisms,” said Long Do, CEO and Founder of Anomaly.

“Our technology is aimed at onboarding Telegram users as web3 gamers and node operators/benefactors. We are happy with the support we have received so far. The collection will act as a passport and key to the Anomaly universe.”

The company uses a Layer-3 chain for game development and monetization, providing a cost-effective environment for blockchain game creation, with easy-to-use features such as social onboarding, instead of using crypto wallets .

“Popular L2 solutions such as Arbitrum and Optimism have captured the attention of most users, but Layer-3 has emerged recently to provide game developers with a higher level of customizability,” Do added.

Anomaly’s strong support and strategic partnerships

Anomaly Games recently completed a pre-seed fundraising round led by Decasonic, with participation from Shima Capital, Round 13 and Zeneca, among others.

The company also partners with several major IPs both inside and outside the web3 ecosystem, including gaming brands like Atari and top web3 gaming projects like Zed Run.

With strong backing from venture capital funds, a slew of strategic partnerships, and their upcoming sign on the way, Anomaly is poised to accelerate through the remainder of 2024.
