Animoca Brands’ nWay is cooking up the Wreck League

In the resilient world of Web3 Gaming, subsidiary of Animoca Brands, way, just revealed something spectacular. The skillful development studio is preparing the ‘Wreck League’, a hardcore AAA NFT fighting game that puts players in real control of their destiny. Adding to the grand spectacle, nWay will also feature some of the biggest IP in the city, featuring Yuga Labs takes center stage during the first season!

Set for release in September, the game will task players with building their own superior demolition machines from a wide variety of interchangeable NFT parts. They then send their well-thought-out creations to the Wreck League arena, where they’ll compete for glory in a series of fierce 1v1 PVP battles.

All in all, each machine will be composed of 10 NFT components, each offering its own gaming advantages. These come in the form of arms, chest, head, legs, shoulders, knees, satellites and accessories, which players can arrange in over 1 quadrillion possible combinations. Players can then replace these components until they build the ultimate machine and trade their unused NFTs on secondary markets like OpenSea.

The nWay Wreck League summons the Big Guns for Season 1

As part of nWay’s incredible vision, the Wreck League project will partner with some of the world’s most prominent brands. Essentially, allowing it to use the intellectual property to incorporate characters and designs into special edition mechs and components.

On the first attempt, Yuga Labs will join the Wreck League by lending its famous BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, and Kodas to the project. As a result, owners of the relative NFTs will have the chance to claim a free Wreck League mech styled after the brand, but it cannot be modified or deconstructed. In addition, regular players occasionally receive Yuga Labs themed components in addition to the standard affair when purchasing mech parts through the blind box system.

The game itself will launch on both PC and mobile devices, initially via a Web3 platform, but later opens up a free-to-play Web2 environment where NFT owners can sell their mechs through in-app purchases. So gear up and get ready to fight hard in the nWay’s brand new Wreck League!
