This potential collaboration could lead to “the fastest and most useful work chain proof ever built,” Cardano’s founder added. Many supported the idea, with the poll polling at 2:20 a.m. EST on May 6 with 13,857 votes.
Cardano and Bitcoin Cash integration details unclear
Ben Scherrey, the founder and CTO of Biggest Lab, shared his support for the possible integration. “I always thought there was a natural synergy between the two chains [Cardano and Bitcoin Cash] considering the shared utxo model that enables high scalability and decentralization,” he said.

Despite community support, it remains unclear how integration between the two networks will happen. Bitcoin Cash could become a “partner chain,” as mentioned in Hoskinson’s post.
In this scenario, Bitcoin cash would have to be bridged to the Cardano network somehow. Even if the technical aspects of the integrations are defined, developers and stakeholders should still reach consensus on the decision.
Charles Hoskinson Praises Upcoming Upgrades in Response to Bitboy Crypto Critic
Hoskinson’s poll comes as Cardano prepares to launch two major upgrades this year. This includes the ‘Chang’ hard fork and a shift to a new proof-of-stake consensus model called Ouroboros Leios.
The ongoing upgrades were praised by Hoskinson in response to an April 7 video posted by influencer Ben Armstrong. In the video, Armstrong called Cardano “dead.”
