Christie’s has taken a bold step into the Bitcoin Ordinals world by auctioning Ordinal Maxi Biz (OMB) on its website.

Curated by OMB’s founder ZK Shark, the artworks are taking place now until April 16 and include four standout collections: ‘Red, Blue, Green, and Orange Eye OMB Set’, ‘Artists Journal’ and ‘This is Me’ by Tony Tafuro and ‘Recording in Progress’ by Berkin Bags.

Christie’s offers bidding options for these Ordinals starting at $100, with both USD and BTC accepted. Of the artworks, however, Lot 1 (Red, Blue, Green and Orange Eye OMB) is expected to attract the most attention, with price estimates as high as $650,000.

OMB’s signature styles

Lot 1 stands out for its beautiful collection of 5,141 distinctive PFP works of art. Each piece is distinguished by its vibrant, striking colors, including red, blue, green and orange, and represents some of the earliest and most authentic hand-drawn art in the field.

Notably, Lot 1 auction sales will support a charity of the seller’s choice, underscoring the collection’s commitment to giving back.

By embracing Bitcoin Ordinals, Christie’s continues to solidify its position as a top player in the ever-evolving digital art market.
