But web3 gaming is taking things to the next level by finding ways to reward these content creators through various creation and earning programs. The newest member of this rising tide of user-generated content is Boss Fighters, who have announced a special contest asking for design entries for new Boss skins!
This isn’t an opportunity to design a brand new Boss. These are just skins for the existing model. However, that still leaves a lot of room for creativity!
You must actually model your design for this competition. The Boss Fighters team suggests using Substance, an advanced, professional modeling tool that the team uses, or Blenderthe free-to-use, extensively documented modeling program.

Create and earn by designing a Boss skin
Boss Fighters has added a competition-specific chat to their Discord called “boss-crafters”. Creators can share and discuss ideas, receive and offer help and guidance, and upload their submissions. To be eligible for the contest, participants must take a screenshot of their creation from different angles. They must upload these screenshots to the Discord chat and tag each Boss Fighters team member. And even if you’re completely new to 3D modeling, the competition will be open for the next three months, so you still have some time to learn. The winner(s) will be announced in January 2024.
The Boss Fighters team says the number of winners selected will depend on the quantity and quality of entries. The winner(s) will be able to name their design (within reason of course), have it included in the game as a limited edition (100 copies) NFT skin, and receive 20 of their game skins for themselves to distribute or sell. sell if they see it right!
The Boss Fighters team will keep the remaining 80 to sell. Although they do promise that the winners will receive a month’s exclusive offer before they release any of the skins.

What is Boss Fighters?
Boss Fighters is an asynchronous arena fighting game that pits a team of players against another player as The Boss – a gigantic enemy that can smash buildings to pieces, shoot lasers, and even rip off and throw the giant hot dog off the top of the restaurant it to the puny people!
