Double cards parallel – Play to earn

Although currently still in beta testing, Parallel is introducing a new feature to their TCG system, allowing players to duplicate their cards to create Echo versions. By doing this, they’re setting up a player-run economy for these card copies, which should be beneficial for both new and experienced players!

Replication is coming to Parallel, allowing players to clone their cards and create Echo versions that players can then trade on the market!

Replication is the process of creating Echo cards from your own First Edition, Special Edition or Perfect Loop cards. Players create Echo cards using PRIME token and Renown, experience points earned by individual cards while playing the game. Echo cards have the same functionality as the original, but can never be duplicated. However, Echo cards earn less prominence than other cards, and they are also classified in their own set so that they are easily distinguished.

The cost for replication is 800 Renown and a fluctuating price in PRIME. The more copies of a card are replicated, the higher the cost in PRIME tokens.

This replication system not only gives experienced players and card owners the opportunity to make some extra money, but also gives players the chance to acquire rare and highly sought after cards at a lower price, while retaining the collectible value of the original. collections.

Parallel has regularly released patches to their beta with bug fixes, balance adjustments, and new features. And they have a lot more they plan to add!

What is parallel?

Parallel is a science fiction themed TCG with some interesting mechanics. A lot of it is the standard stuff we expect from a digital TCG these days. Two players build a deck of cards and then take turns drawing these cards in a duel. The first player to reduce their opponent to zero life wins. Cards come in three types: units, effects (spells), and relics. Parallel offers five ‘Parallels’, which are similar to gods/summoners/champions/etc. in other games.

Players build stacks of 40 cards in parallel. Each deck can have a maximum of three copies of a card in the deck, with the exception of legendary cards, which may only be included once. Each deck can use cards from one Parallel, as well as cards marked as Universal. Additionally, players choose a Paragon for their deck. Paragons provide passive bonuses throughout the match regardless of their status, and therefore function as in-play units with stats and possibly other bonuses or effects.

The mana/energy system in Parallel requires players to ‘bank’ cards from their hand. Each saved card grants one additional maximum energy each turn. Players start the game with no energy, so they must collect at least one card. Players can play one card per turn. And if they put a card in the piggy bank, they draw an extra card at the end of their turn.

Players who win matches with NFT cards in their deck will receive PRIME tokens. Parallel will also include a free-to-play option.

PRIME is the main game token and card collectors can already earn some just by betting their cards. Parallel also offers a map creation tool called Payload. Players can pay a fee in PRIME tokens to generate new cards. Additionally, Parallel supports ‘Artigraph’ cards: NFT cards that are digitally signed by the artist. Players can obtain these limited edition cards by paying a fee and upgrading an existing card.
