The window to earn a Bomkus Pass, which will allow players to participate in the leaderboards for this upcoming experience on The Sandbox, is now open! These leaderboards offer SAND rewards and special, unique crystals that can lead to even greater treasures!
There will be a new game coming soon that will allow you to gain experience in The Sandbox. But this time, the pass to access the game and earn leaderboards is free to use for a wide variety of players!
Striking a pass is available to everyone on the mint list, which is quite a long list! For starters, anyone who owns a Sandbox Land or Avatar is on the list. Additionally, anyone who owns an NFT from a long list of NFT collections, including BAYC, should also be on the list. See the official blog post for the full list of eligible NFTs.
Minting the pass is free, although you will still have to pay a very small gas fee (the transaction uses the Polygon network). Eligible participants can redeem their Bomkus Pass coins https://www.sandbox.game/bomkus/leaderboard-pass-minting/en/
These passes provide access to the game to earn leaderboards for the Dr Bomkus Trials, an upcoming experience in The Sandbox.
The dr. Bomkus processes
The dr. Bomkus experience consists of six tests, each with their own ranking. Rankings are based on the number of experience points earned during the trial, with tiebreakers determined based on the player who completes the quest the fastest.
Rewards will go to the top 1,000 players, with second through 100th places receiving SAND tokens. However, the first-place player on each leaderboard will receive a special crystal, each unique to the trial. For anyone willing to sacrifice their crystals to use Dr. To repair Bomkus, a legendary treasure awaits in a secret vault! Crystals are tradable NFTs and will exist on the Polygon network. But because only six copies exist, it can be difficult to find a seller!
The SAND rewards are quite generous, with 100 SAND for 501st place and below, 200 SAND for 11th through 500th, and 5000 SAND for second through tenth!
The dr. Bomkus Trials will only be open for seven days each, with a new one opening each time the current Trial closes.
The Trials begin on October 25, 2:00 PM UTC, and run until December 6, 2:00 PM UTC. Players can claim rewards on December 20, and Dr. Bomkus Vault will open (for crystal exchanges) on January 10, 2024.
