The Halloween events are starting to arrive. And in a special event called Pumpkin Hunt, Boss Fighters players will have the chance to earn two new Halloween-themed skins. The task is quite simple. Just play the game and destroy the pumpkins you see in the game!

Starting Friday, October 20, Boss Fighters players will have the chance to play and earn special Halloween-themed skins by simply destroying the pumpkins seen in the game!

There are two skins up for grabs, one a Boss skin and the other a skin for the Striker weapon. To qualify, players must destroy a minimum of 30 pumpkins as either Boss or Fighter (or both). These skins are not sold by the Boss Fighters team. The only way to get them is by participating in this event.

You have two weekends to earn these new skins. From October 22 to 24 and from October 27 to 29. Playtimes start at 1:00 PM on Friday and last until 11:00 PM on Sunday both weekends.

Boss Fighters is free to play, and downloadable via Steam or you can download it directly from the website.

What is Boss Fighters?

Boss Fighters is an asynchronous arena fighting game that pits a team of players against another player as The Boss – a gigantic enemy that can smash buildings to pieces, shoot lasers, and even rip off and throw the giant hot dog off the top of the restaurant it to the puny people! The Fighter players have guns, missiles, grappling hooks, sticky bombs and other weapon and equipment options to aid in their fight against the Boss.

Boss Fighters is free to play. And those who have no interest in blockchain or NFTs can still play and earn in-game rewards. Boss Fighters contains digital assets and NFTs, but these are cosmetic only and do not affect gameplay. The game proceeds in seasons. During each season, players gain experience as they play, allowing them to unlock new gear, cosmetics, and upgrades. These rewards can be wiped out between seasons, but players have the option to spend in-game currency to mint certain items in an NFT. Since the Boss players are the heart of the game, they will see higher rewards for participating in the game. This includes bonuses for playing regularly.

Character, Boss and weapon skins are available on Open Loot.

Boss Fighters wants to bring a game show feel to their game and strongly encourages streaming. They want to build an eSport that is a fun event for players and viewers. The Boss Fighters team is already thinking of ways to encourage and reward viewership and audience participation.
