The brainchild behind the famous Facebook game FarmVille, Zyngaannounced that it is taking a bold step into the Web3 gaming world with its upcoming blockchain-based venture, Sugar cityavailable soon.
Sugartown unfolds a story about three farm animals who accidentally rip open a chasm into a parallel universe. Players who want access to the ecosystem will need to purchase an Ora NFT later this year. They can use the non-fungible collectibles to collect Sugar – an in-game currency that bears no resemblance to cryptocurrency – to power up and reap the rewards by participating in the enticing free-to-play mini-games and immersive experiences.
