The open beta arrives at The Machines Arena on April 23, bringing game updates, new mechanical companions known as Familiars, and a chance to participate in a future play-to-airdrop opportunity!

Development is moving forward in The Machines Arena, bringing us to the Open Beta. The open beta for The Machines Arena is free to play, open to everyone and starts on April 23.

In addition to playing in the browser, players can now also compete on Android devices. The Machines Arena is available through Epic Games, or as a download for Android from the official website. Player accounts are synced between both versions and everyone competes in the same arenas.

The Machines Arena team is also planning a play-to-airdrop campaign later during the open beta. No details yet. But expect to see leaderboards with rewards for playing, achieving certain goals in the game, and participating in social activities. They also promise tons of other updates, including new skins, new maps, new collectibles, and more!

In addition, this open beta will also bring into the game well-known players, companions that provide various statistical boosts during a match. And players can claim a free bundle of three Familiars during the open beta for a limited time. These free family items are in-game items only. Although there will also be signature items that players can purchase from the in-game store and convert into NFTs. And to level the playing field, during Rated PvP, everyone’s Familiar offers all players the same percentage boost.

What is the Machines Arena?

The Machines Arena is a fast-paced, action-packed, top-down MOBA game that pits two teams of four players against each other in various game modes. Using weapons such as guns, lasers and flamethrowers, players fight in matches that typically last 5-10 minutes. The Machines Arena offers ten characters to choose from, with an assortment of powers, strengths and weaknesses. Characters are classified as tank, support, and attack. Working together with your team is crucial for success.

The Machines Arena was not originally planned as a blockchain game. But since their first beta release, they’ve expanded their plans. And following a partnership with Sky Mavis, players in The Machines Arena can now mint, buy and sell character skins on the Ronin Network.

The game is still in early development, but already features a very playable game.
