Korea Reveals Speakers and Programming Schedule

With only a few days to go, the highly anticipated The Gateway: Korea event is almost upon us. In addition to an immersive audiovisual gallery showcasing some of the best digital artists, the two-day event includes engaging fireside talks, keynotes by keynote speakers and more. We are pleased to announce the speaker line-up and program schedule for the event below.

From September 7 to 8, nft now and FACTBLOCK will present The Gateway: Korea in Seoul as one of the main events of Korea Blockchain Week. The event will feature daily panels and fireside chats featuring prominent figures from various sectors within the web3 and digital art world.

The panel programming for the day kicks off on Thursday, September 7 with an exclusive fireside chat with best-selling artist Beeple. The panel programming for the day includes a music-focused panel moderated by Latasha and hosted by Beatport and Polkadot, a Now Runway panel on digital fashion featuring Dani Loftus, Irene Kim and Lady Phe0nix, and a community-focused panel hosted by Adidas /// Studio. A special fireside talk with visionary artist Krista Kim and a star-studded artist panel featuring ThankYouX, Emi Kusano and JN Silva round out day one’s offerings.

The second day’s programming on September 8 kicks off with an exclusive talk with 9GAG’s Ray Chan hosted by ARC, followed by a curated arts panel hosted by Christie’s and a community panel that includes Dave Krugman and Frank Degods. The day concludes with a panel on digital disruption in the traditional art world with Dustin Yellin and a mysterious Project Dragon event with nft’s now executive team.

The upcoming event will be the third version of the Gateway series. Following the huge success of the five-day festival during Miami Basel last year, with 12,000 visitors and collaborations with brand giants such as Instagram (Meta), RTFKT, Porsche and MetaMask, The Gateway: Korea is bringing the celebrated brand globally this year for the first time.
