What is Maison Margiela?
Maison Margiela is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela and Jenny Meirens.
The Paris-based fashion house produces haute couture-inspired artisanal collections in addition to ready-to-wear, including womenswear, menswear, jewelry, shoes, accessories, leather goods, perfumes and homewares.
The house is also known for its avant-garde designs using unconventional materials and organizing live shows in unique locations.
