Designed by renowned kit artist Christian Jeffery, this collection is rich in local symbolism. The red Lancaster rose, woven into the Manchester City crest, reflects the club’s heritage. Meanwhile, the tenacious worker bee symbolizes the resilient spirit that defines the people of Manchester.
The coin initiative comes with different levels of extraordinary prizes. Five people who achieve Ultra-Rare status will not only receive the ‘Roses and the Bees’ NFT, but also the chance to play on the Etihad grounds, score matchday tickets and an exclusive ‘Roses and the Bees’ team shirt to obtain.
In comparison, 20 Rare award recipients can look forward to receiving their digital token, linked to hospitality tickets, a stadium tour and their version of the signature jersey. Classic prize winners do just now receive a digital collectible.
Interestingly, the partnership between Manchester City and OKX started in March 2022 and has been flourishing ever since. OKX is the official sleeve sponsor for Manchester City’s current season.
Fans are excited about Unseen City Shirts’ second release. News about a possible third drop is not yet known.
