CryptoPunks recently announced a new 500 piece digital avatar collection, ‘Super Punk World’‘, hand-curated by the very first “PUNK in residence”, Nina Chanel Abbey.
Abney’s version of the will be celebrated from May 18 to October 5 Punks will be showcased in her art exhibition – ‘LIE DOGGO’ – at The School | Jack Shainman Gallery in Kinderhook, New York.
The ‘Super Punks’ collection is inspired by features from CryptoPunks and ‘Super Cool World’, the artist’s previous NFTs, consisting of 5,080 items with hundreds of attributes that highlight her signature collage-like style.

Details about these punk-themed artworks are limited. However, what is also known is that they will be in the spotlight alongside Abney’s already existing portfolio, and that an auction is in the pipeline.

Born in Harvey, Illinois, and based in New York, Abney is a prominent American artist known for her vibrant, graphic paintings that address complex social issues.
What sets the artist apart is that she explores themes of race, gender, pop culture and politics, while cleverly combining bright colors and symbolic images to blur traditional boundaries.
Her playful yet profound masterpieces can be seen in major exhibitions such as ‘30 Americansnotable solo shows at the Nasher Museum of Art, the animated series South Park, and so on.
Now she aims to further engage and provoke both art and NFT lovers worldwide with the unveiling of her limited-edition CryptoPunks collection at the LIE DOGGO exhibition.
