The device extends its support to a variety of classic games dating back to the pre-PlayStation 1 era through emulation and enables multiplayer gaming via Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Users will have the opportunity to seamlessly earn points and airdrops within the DEPIN network, supplemented with modest mining capabilities.
BitBoy is also introducing a feature that allows games to be subscribed directly to the Bitcoin blockchain using ‘Ordinals’ – a method for creating Bitcoin NFTs, which provides a new way to integrate cryptocurrency technology into gaming hardware.
Priced at around $500, BitBoy is expected to hit the market for pre-orders in mid-April.
