Cradles began their latest beta this week, making their dinosaur hunting MMO accessible to anyone who wanted to download and play the game. Now they’re unveiling rewards for their beta players, including some nice prize pools for the top guilds and players in the PvP arena!
The Cradles open beta is now live and with it a chance to play and earn money!
As you might imagine, especially if you have any experience testing MMOs (or playing early releases), Cradles has been experiencing login and server issues, as well as issues with their installer. But if you can get past that, Cradles has revealed some plans to offer players rewards during this beta test.
The largest prize pools belong to the PvP leaderboards. Players can participate in matches in the PvP zone to earn points. Participate as a guild, as an individual player, or both! The top 10 PvP players will share a prize pool of $2,000 USD in CRD tokens. The top three guilds will split a prize pool of $1,000 USD in CRD, and they will each also receive a special NFT badge.
The Cradles open beta also includes daily quests, rewards for helpful feedback and bug reporting, and prizes for posting interesting moments from the game to Twitter or YouTube.

What is rocking?
Cradles is an MMORPG set in a world inhabited by humans and dinosaurs and features a living world that grows and evolves over time.
Cradles comprises a major urban hub that functions as a marketplace and social scene. There are adventure areas outside the city. Here, players explore, battle prehistoric beasts, and collect materials for crafting. The adventure areas represent different, lost time periods in Earth’s history. And of course, the more dangerous areas offer more lucrative rewards! In Cradles, players acquire equipment, crystals, and Civilization Flames. Players use Civilization Flames to light beacon towers, boosting the player’s favorite civilization.
Crystals are the main game currency and are used to upgrade weapons, strengthen equipment and make repairs. Crystals will exist as their own blockchain token. Players earn crystals in daily quests and in crystal mines.
Interestingly enough, Cradles has chosen not to sell NFTs! Instead, they will focus on providing value to their token and letting players decide which NFTs are worth trading. Players will have access to a crafting feature, which will allow them to use materials from the adventure areas to create equipment.
Cradles will also have some sort of NFT staking/rental system and passive income options. It will also be a subscription-based game.
Cradles has big plans for their MMO, including a quest system, player management, player-created experiences, land ownership, Chaos attacks on the main cities, and more!
