What is Nyan Heroes?
Nyan Heroes is a team-based third-person shooter featuring mechs controlled by cats. These cat-controlled mechs provide feline agility, allowing players to climb, scale and bounce off walls, delivering an extra level of tactical gameplay. Players can choose from a variety of pilots and weapons, each with their own special skills and properties.
And while you don’t quite get the expected nine lives, you do get two: launching your cat out of the mech just before it’s destroyed. Cats outside their mech can continue to fight, or try to reintegrate with their mech and get back into the thick of things.
The game is very playable and fast even in its pre-alpha state. Finding a match was easy and you can even queue up with friends or a full team.
Nyan Heroes will offer a variety of maps and objectives for players to compete for, with the available options growing over time. They also hope to introduce user-generated content in the future. Additionally, Nyan Heroes also donates to a global cat charity every time their game is downloaded!
