Play the Harvest of Doom season for Mojo Melee

User Avatar

A new season for Mojo Melee begins soon, with a new BattlePass featuring a new champion and new Mojos to unlock! Plus, you can expect some new Halloween outfits for your Mojos sometime this month!

Mojo Melee is preparing to kick off the third season of their web-based, fantasy auto-battler!

This new season starts on October 6 and is known as Harvest of Doom. Like every season, this season includes a new BattlePass, with both free and premium paid versions. This time around, the premium BattlePass includes a few new benefits. One of these is Premium Points, which can be used to unlock additional missions to make leveling up your BattlePass easier. There will also be a new champion called Rackmoor, a vulture champion with a pretty cool looking skull staff and an exclusive skin to unlock for him.

But the biggest surprise is the addition of a new Mojo! And actually the teaser says Mojos, plural! Details about these new Mojos are still secret. But with only two days left until the season starts, we won’t have to wait long to find out more! Mojos are the leaders of the teams, and it’s been a while since we had a new one to play with. So this should be an interesting and exciting update for Mojo Melee!

The Mojo Melee team has also teased some ‘Spooky Mojos’. It looks like these will be detailed Halloween-themed skins for the existing Mojos, which should be cool and a nice change from the fairly basic skins we have now. There’s no word yet on when these will be available, but I expect we’ll get more details soon!

In the meantime, Mojo Melee is free to play and now you can get some practice before the Harvest of Doom season starts!

How do you play Mojo Melee?

Mojo Melee, is a fantasy-themed auto-battler running on the Polygon blockchain. Players build teams consisting of 1 Mojo unit, 4 Champion units, and 2 SpellStones. These teams then battle for dominance in the arena!

Each team can bring a maximum of two SpellStones to a match. Each Spellstone has a special ability. Spellstones fall into three groups: Attachments, which are placed on a unit to give it the Spellstone’s ability, Offensive Spellstones, which are placed on the opponent’s side and affect enemy units within their range, and Team Spellstones, which provide team bonuses.

Mojos are automatically deployed at the start of battle and can be upgraded during a match like the other units. Players receive ten gold at the start of each round. Any gold that is not spent carries over to the next round. During the preparation phase, players use their gold to place champions and spell stones on the battlefield. Players can upgrade Champions and Spellstones by purchasing additional copies and placing them on the same tile. Players can upgrade each Champion and Spellstone up to three times.

Once both players have finished preparing, the game goes into auto-battle mode and the teams battle it out until only one is left or time runs out. Each champion has a number of different stats, including health, armor, attack damage, and even target priority. These all play a role in the team’s behavior and results during a match.

Champions have special abilities that can be activated when they gain enough energy. Some champions even start the match with full energy! Spellstones are generally activated once at the start of a round and provide an immediate buff or effect.
