Play to earn money with the Life Beyond GameOn event

Life Beyond brings us a new event called GameOn. This event offers prizes for players who log in and try out one of the currently available Trials. With a reward pack that already includes an Otherside Deed, this free-to-play event is sure to attract some extra players!

Life Beyond already held a contest for their Solo Combat Trial feature earlier this year. And they also introduced Agility Trials not long ago. In the Agility Trials, players use their running, jumping, dodging and sliding skills to make their way through an obstacle course.

Players who log in during the month of August and attempt any of the challenges will now earn entry into a raffle held at the end of the month. This competition, known as the GameOn Event, started on August 1. For every day that players log in and try their skills on one of the trial simulations, they will receive a raffle.

A draw will take place at the end of August, where one lucky player will be awarded multiple prizes. All of the rewards for this event have not yet been revealed, but we do know that it will include an Otherside deed, which has a current floor price of over $1100 USD! The team says they plan to announce additional pricing in the coming weeks.

The Life Beyond Trials are free to play, no NFT required! You can download the launcher and register an account at https://www.playlifebeyond.com/theHub.

Other news from Life Beyond

But that’s not the only recent news from Life Beyond. They just released the first version of their Mac client! Now MacOS users can enjoy the game too!

The team also held a Founder’s Chat earlier today. I was not able to listen to everything and unfortunately there was no recording. But I managed to pick up a tidbit or two about their upcoming plans

They hinted at several big collaboration announcements, though they couldn’t reveal the partners themselves just yet. The Life Beyond team also discussed the development of their DOL token and has a current target release date of October 2023.

In addition, the first steps of land ownership were discussed. Founder Key owners can expect a land drop later this year, though they probably won’t be usable until sometime in 2024.

And my final comment from the chat is that Life Beyond is planning a visual reboot for all of their existing NFTs sometime before the end of the year.

What is life after this?

Life Beyond is a Free to Play, Play, and Earn FPS-style MMORPG with a third-person view. In Life Beyond, players are citizens of the Dolos Planet, an alien world surrounding a distant star. During the first alpha, players worked to clear and defend land for the first settlement. Along the way, they encountered a variety of hostile wildlife, many of them resembling giant, alien cockroaches!

The game follows the lore, with reasoning for the alpha events and shutdowns written as part of the storyline. Players go on solo or group missions for experience and rewards. But as they do so, they also contribute to larger community causes that open up new events and prizes. Players build the game world as the game progresses and clear areas to establish colonies.

Players have four classes to choose from, each with a different weapon selection. Try them out on solo missions or sign up for group missions to get bigger rewards.

Life Beyond is currently in between alpha stages, though they have a 3D social hub available where players can access the Solo Combat Trials, Agility Trials, and a number of other features.
