Hugely popular farming and exploration romp, Pixelshas announced that it will be leaving Polygon in favor of the Ronin Network. This is the latest title to rely on Sky Mavis’ own custom gaming blockchain.
The move marks a major coup for the Ronin network, which has been busy expanding its empire in recent months. Now it will inherit 1.5 million monthly transactions, 100,000 active wallets and 5,000 daily users to add to its mighty portfolio.
Through Pixels, Web3 gamers can embark on farming and exploration type adventures. Essentially, players can cultivate resources, build their own personal homes, and socialize with like-minded individuals.
During their travels, virtual farmers acquire the native gaming token $BERRY, which they can use to acquire non-NFT items and LAND. However, if they want to take it a step further, users can purchase NFT LAND on marketplaces like OpenSea, or borrow a piece on the rental market.
