Starbucks Korea is roasting digital delicacies with its eco-friendly products NFT project“STARBUCKS STAR★LIGHT”, starting tomorrow – a first of its kind in Asia.

As part of Starbucks NFT Rewards ProgramSTARBUCKS STAR★LIGHT encourages customers to use their own personal cups. When they reuse their cups, customers earn Eco Stamps on their Starbucks Rewards accounts, giving them access to exclusive NFT rewards over time and expanding the appeal of sustainable practices.

An exclusive exhibition of NFT artworks by local Korean artists will also shed light on NFT art and will be on display at the Starbucks Jongno R store in Seoul until the end of January.

Unlock Exclusive Starbucks NFTs

Starbucks Rewards members can earn NFTs by placing orders through Siren Order (mobile ordering) while using their personal cups, earning one Eco Stamp per purchase.

Once enough Eco Stamps have been collected, customers can redeem them for NFTs. Each customer can collect up to three Eco Stamps per day, with three tiers of collectible NFTs available for redemption.

At the “BASIC NFT” level, one NFT can be exchanged for five Eco Stamps. Collecting fifteen Eco Stamps unlocks a limited edition “CREATIVE NFT,” with a total of 20,000 copies available. Collecting twenty Eco Stamps gives access to a limited edition “ARTIST NFT”, limited to 1,000 copies.

Remark: Only one NFT can be issued per account and customers must collect the required number of Eco Stamps to obtain the desired NFT. For example, once a customer obtains a BASIC NFT with 5 Eco Stamps, obtaining NFTs of other levels is no longer possible.

Crypto art with a purpose

Starbucks Korea’s NFTs are the result of a collaboration between Starbucks Korea and Print Bakery, one of Korea’s most prominent digital art platforms.

Furthermore, the initiative showcases an extensive collection of digital artworks contributed by local artists, including renowned artist “DADAZ”. Centered around the theme “My Own Cup,” all digital creations highlight the importance of reusable cups and tumblers in promoting a sustainable environment.

Additionally, the coffee giant’s exclusive exhibition at its Jongno R store in Seoul serves as a vivid testament to Starbucks’ unwavering commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices, seamlessly blending artistic expression with a commitment to a greener future.

The Starbucks Korea NFT initiative is not just about NFTs; it’s about using art as a powerful tool to promote sustainable practices and inspire positive change.
