Starbucks Odyssey Introduces ‘Green Apron’ NFT Collection

For more than 50 years, Starbucks’ dedicated baristas have consistently delivered unparalleled service and customer satisfaction to everyone who enters their store. This remarkable journey began in 1971 when the company opened its first store in Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market. Now, after years of building a profound legacy, Starbucks is proud to present its latest NFT collection, aptly named “The Green Apron,” which pays homage to its storied history.

As part of its Web3 loyalty and rewards program Starbucks Odyssey, the global coffee chain is preparing to launch its eighth NFT collection – “Green Apron” – on Nifty Gateway on August 1.

The limited-edition collection of 5,000 NFTs is a testament to Starbucks’ rich history – from the “original Pike Place apron to the Siren apron you see today” – and the recognition of its baristas who have served for the past 50+ years served.

Each stamp is available for a fixed price of $100.00, starting with early access for Odyssey members and associates on August 1 at 12:00 PM EST.

Only members who have completed three or more Odyssey Journeys or are Starbucks partners before July 28 will receive early access to the collection. Public access begins at 3:00 PM EST.

As with the previous drops, the NFTs will be minted on Polygon’s PoS sidechain and continue to be sold through Nifty Gateway.

Starbucks first entered the NFT marketplace in December 2022, with a free Holiday Cheer Edition NFT for early Odyssey users, featuring the iconic red and white Christmas coffee cup.

In March, the coffeehouse debuted its Siren Collection as its first “premium” NFT, consisting of 2,000 digital collectibles each featuring a unique representation of a siren with its roots in Greek mythology. The second NFT collection, First Store Collection, dropped in April and consisted of 5,000 NFT stamp collectibles that were also offered at a fixed price of $100.

The company’s newest coffee, Starbucks Green Apron Blend, launched in early May and differs from other in-store coffee products in that it’s created by Starbucks employees with nearly 24,000 submissions that helped shape the flavor and roast profiles of the brand. currently offered blend.

For a limited time, Starbucks donated $0.10 per cup of Green Apron brewed to its CUP Fund, an emergency resource created by employees 25 years ago to help employees in times of need, such as a family emergency or after a natural disaster.
