Tezos Foundation awards grants to innovative projects in the field of DeFi and Gaming

The Tezos Foundation has announced the recipients of its latest grant program for May and June 2024, targeting a wide range of projects spanning DeFi, gaming and other innovative sectors, according to Tezos Spotlight.

Transak

Transak plans to integrate Etherlink into its liquidity system, simplifying the token escalation process for Tezos on-chain partners. This integration aims to streamline user onboarding for decentralized applications (dapps) by reducing the steps required to start using Tezos dapps. Developers will benefit from easier integration, potential revenue increases, and happier users, ultimately strengthening the Tezos ecosystem.

Calamari

Calamari offers a data lake solution that collects both on-chain and off-chain data. With Etherlink support now integrated into Subsquid’s decentralized data lake, developers can quickly build indexers and access all the on-chain data needed to run their applications. This development provides a robust toolset for scalable and efficient dapp development, opening new possibilities within the Tezos ecosystem.

3Route

3Route revolutionizes transactions as a cross-DEX on-chain aggregator. It provides liquidity of the most popular Tezos DEXes in one swap, ensuring competitive pricing and low slippage. The platform’s automatic routing feature ensures cost-efficient and seamless transactions between multiple DEXs within the Tezos network, optimizing transactions and reducing additional fees.

Baking bad

Baking bad is focused on building and scaling blockchain explorers, developer tools, and DeFi products. Their notable projects include:

  • DipDupa Python framework for creating dapp-specific smart contract indexers, allowing developers to focus on business logic instead of boilerplate code.

  • PyTezosa Python library designed for interacting with the Tezos blockchain, testing smart contracts, and writing Michelson scripts.

  • Netezosa cross-platform Tezos SDK for .NET developers, providing high-level functionality for interacting with the Tezos blockchain and enabling seamless integration for Unity game developers.

Looking forward

The beneficiaries announced for May and June 2024 represent only a fraction of the innovative projects supported by the Tezos Foundation. As the foundation’s permanent grant initiative continues, it aims to nurture the best ideas and founders in the industry, consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the Tezos ecosystem.
