The OKX wallet team has urged wallet users to upgrade the OKX mobile wallet to the latest version.

OKX is a popular crypto exchange known for various types of simple crypto trading services. Currently, this exchange is the sixth largest crypto platform in terms of crypto trading volume.

The security company has found a critical bug in OKX Wallet 1

On December 19, 2023, a popular blockchain security company Certik reported that they had found a critical bug in the OKX mobile wallet.

The type of bug is Remote Code Execution (RCE). Using this plushie, a hacker can easily target the computing device and make changes remotely with ease, regardless of where the device is located.

Following this notification to the OKX team, the OKX team responded quickly and resolved the vulnerability.

The OKX team officially spoke about this issue and thanked the Certik team for discovering this critical bug related to the OKX mobile wallet.

OKX urged users to update the wallet to iOS version 6.45.0 as soon as possible.

Crypto platforms remain a common target for hackers to carry out attacks because, unfortunately, it is still easy for them to run away with stolen funds anonymously, thanks to crypto mixing platforms.
