Created in collaboration with leading gaming studios and Web3 brands, the ‘GameWave Genesis’ hackathon runs until September 13 and challenges early-stage developers to create interoperable gaming experiences on the Oasys blockchain as they compete for a stake in the massive $42,000 prize pool. .
Thanks to their vast experience, gaming giant Ubisoft and Web3 native platforms, ChainGuardians, AAG and Adventure Gold DAO have all posed their individual challenges. Each is designed to help improve gaming experiences on the Oasys blockchain and set the wheels of true innovative change in motion.

Huge prizes await the best performing projects
To sweeten the deal even more, the GameWave Genesis Hackathon has prepared a massive $42,000 prize pool for those who catch the judges’ attention. As a result, Oasys and AWS will award the top three performers $15k, $10k and $5k respectively. While the supporting gaming companies will offer additional prizes based on the following criteria.
- Ubisoft – $3000 for the best entry that focuses on interoperability in the Champions Tactics title, or interoperability in Web3 as a whole
- AG – $3000 for increasing the usability of his TomoOne NFTs
- Chain Guardians – $3000 for demonstrating a creative or educational use of Oasys’ layer 2 blockchain, and integrating interoperable NFTs
- Adventure Gold DAO – $3000 for creating an autonomous world or dApp for its platform
Despite the individual nature of the prizes, each entry may span multiple categories as long as it meets the required criteria. Oasys will take the event finals to Ethereum Singapore 2023 and TOKEN2049, the most high-profile crypto conference in Asia, where the results will be visible to all!

How to Join the GameWave Genesis Hackathon on Oasys
Anyone who thinks they have what it takes to participate in the GameWave genesis hackathon can register via the Dorahacks website. Effectively strengthen their status within the project by completing the corresponding application form. However, those taking the plunge should note that they must submit their entries before September 5. Thereafter, Oasys and its collaborators will announce the finalists on September 8, ahead of the demo day on September 13.
